Pasta was a disaster!

I am the biggest pasta fan! And I was seriously disappointed when I poured my fattis & monies penne pasta into the water to cook! It just shredded. It looked like tiny spaghetti! To me that says the pasta is old or your quality has dropped drastically! Very unsatisfied!
