Scary, Invasive, Extremely Painful Physiothe******

I have a policy of complaining privately and praising publicly. But I'm going to make this 1 exception because it's a medical health professional and I think it's in the public's best interests to look elsewhere for a physiothe******

* I saw Fatima on Tue 5 December as my (AMAZING) regular physio is away on holiday.

Pros: 1. Very close to my home in Fresnaye (but I'd far, far rather drive out twice a week to Parklands to see my regular Physio)

Cons: 1. Cold, disinterested bedside manner. No warmth, empathy, kindness or compassion for clients. Clinical. Sterile. Uninvolved. Removed. 2. Does not conduct any kind of physical beforehand 3. Asks extremely limiting/limited questions and then completely ignores everything you say 4. Terrifying dry needle experience (and I routinely go for dry needling and 90 min full body acupuncture) 5. I was so scared I wanted to leave 6. Only *works* the immediate area you say is hurting - another physio works surrounding area to treat referred pain and to loosen overall injury 7. Provides zero feedback on cause of injury 8. Does not discuss at all with you what she is doing 9. Provides zero feedback or recommend's any rehab exercises 10. Does not communicate at all with you during treatment, so you are just scared, tense and don't know what is being done or why. 11. Very limited treatment offering: Dry needling and ultrasound - that's it 12. No softening up or warming up of the muscles in the form of gentle massage before stabbing you with a needle 13. No stretching or physical therapy (I called it lazy physio when I complained to my husband afterward) 14. In significant more pain post *treatment*

Would definitely strongly recommend not seeing this particular physiothe******
