Playing the fool

The staff in the kitchen are deliberately out to fool customers.

Ordered a mushroom burger for supper, as I like mushrooms and haven't had a mushroom burger in ages. Something told me to open and check the burger and the result is evident.

Firstly, the emphasis is on MUSHROOM, as it's a mushroom burger. Well, find the mushroom and win an all expenses paid exotic holiday. It was merely a very small quantity of tasteless mushroom sauce used on the burger, but absolutely no mushrooms present.

Secondly, the kitchen staff is fooling customers to believe that there is cheese on the burger, with only a small strip of cheese on the edge of the patty, for visual purposes only.

Thirdly there were also no lettuce on the burger, apart for a small piece on the side of the burger, purposefully again to mislead customers into believing that there is actually lettuce present on the burger.

As a frequent customer of Fat Cake City (not just at Florida Junction), I'm feeling highly disappointed, betrayed, humiliated and my intelligence insulted by the conduct of kitchen staff who are preparing the orders.

Also not sure if this might be a cost saving attempt and instruction from management, but this conduct is not on, as it will result in the loss of customers, the loss of customers will result in the loss of revenue, which will lead to people being laid off and losing their livelihood and it will eventually lead to the closing down of branches.

Please remember that your decisions and actions has a ripple effect which can affect many other factors.

I am seriously starting to reconsider my support of Fat Cake City, as this was just one more of many other prior negative experiences that I and we as couple had at a Fat Cake City branch.

Please get your house in order and start putting customers first.
