Cheese costs the same as lettuce.....

So today I saw a new franchise in Menlyn called Fat Cake City. As it was lunch I decided to give them a try and ordered a chicken and mayo fat cake. The cashier told me it does not come with garnish and I asked for tomato and lettuce. I did not mind paying for it.<br> <br> She ran up 2 slices of cheese, at which stage I inquired why I should pay for cheese instead of garnish. The cashier told me the manager instructed them to do so, and that I was not the first unhappy customer.<br> <br> I asked for the manager, who was not available, although he was there.<br> <br> I then sent the franchiser a mail, and got this quaint reply: \Nothing in life is for free.<br> The day that we get stuff for free will be the day that we give something to you for free."<br> <br> Just to reiterate"
