FastJet (How can we lose your luggage)

<p>My family and my brothers family (tickect #: FD5RXI) were on a fast jet flight (flight #: FN8104/15) from Johannesburg to Harare on Monday night the 15th of August 2016. On check in the lady who checked us in put through one of our bags without a tag, even though she gave us a confirmation that the bag had gone through and will be tagged later (tag #: XH458378). We raised our concern with the team leader Z. Khan and he instructed the lady to come to boarding and confirm with us if the bag had been tagged as promised and that it was on the airline. The lady never came to confirm that the bag was on the plane and we departed Joburg. Upon arriving in Harare that is when we discovered the bag was missing. We went to the airline offices and they told us that the Joburg office had emailed them to say two bags had been left behind and instructed us to come to their office the following day at 11am. The following day we went to the Harare airport offices and to our surprise the bag was not delivered.</p> <p> </p> <p>Upon phoning the Joburg office to find out if they can locate the bag, they gave us baggage handling office number that we had to call. This has inconvenienced my brother the owner of the bag who was scheduled to leave for Mozambique on Tuesday morning and now it an added cost as we have to phone different numbers in Joburg to locate the bag as we are keep being referred. The inconvenience is as a result of fast jet staff mistake and now we have to pay for it, as it is a cost to call joburg from Harare and my brother has to put extra leave days to find his bag.</p>
