Don't Fly Fastjet - Ripoff artists!!!!!

I recently flew to Harare from OR Thambo, Flight number FN8334 on 20 May 2018 at 16:25.

I paid for, and checked in two bags, of which one was my tool box with tools to do my work, marked "FRAGILE". When I arrived in Harare and received my bags, I found my tool box lock had been broken and been forced open. My Tone and Probe tool as well as some cable was missing from my tool box.

I reported this to the ticket office at Robert Mugabe International, and they said I should report this in South Africa.

I have contacted Fastjet twice regarding the matter, 27/05/2018 reference number given to me 116615, and again on 10/06/2018 reference number 119286, promising me that an agent will contact me within 5 working days.

I am yet to receive a response. When I try call to speak to an employee, I only get an automated response and no further. This is unacceptable, and I STRONGLY recommend to everyone, rather pay the little extra, and fly another airline. After having to pay an additional R780.00 for an extra bag, as you are only allowed ONE, you may as well pay for a more extensive flight, where you automatically can check in TWO bags. (I found this to be particularly disturbing as both flights were only 50-60% full. So where is the problem with an extra bag?????)
