Non delivery of items purchased online
I purchased 2 x Dash Cams from Ideal Direct, an online shop. Their payment method is handled by a third party company, in this case, PAY FAST. I comp**** to all the requisites and made two separate payments of R799 for each item (the items were identical). One can easily observe that two separate payments where made as the reference numbers differ and the time of the POP's differ as per Standard Bank POP. The Proof Of Payments were sent to them via Standard Bank and I further downloaded the POP's from said Bank for my own records. The EFT's where both made within 10 minutes of each other on the 6th Feb 2018. Surely have to reconcile their bank account? So how then can they miss two payments of R799. They cannot justify non execution of these orders. To offer an excuse is to admit to incompetency. The date is now 21 Feb. So its over two weeks already since the date of purchase and I have received NOTHING!, not even an email saying they *****ed up. Pay Fast should be renamed to Pay Slow or Pay with Difficulty. The red tape and delays you have to go through will, without doubt, affect the online stores sales. I for one don't need hassles like this and in future I will avoid any online store that utilizes PAY FAST.
