Slow and unperturbed definitely not fast and furious
A parcel was dispatched on Monday for delivery to me, I received a call at approximately 14.45 from your offices asking me to confirm the address because the driver was nearby (for some reason when I ordered through edgars the full address did not pull through). I was advised that the parcel would be delivered shortly. I phoned about 40 minutes later to check on it and was advised that it was still on its way. I did not receive the parcel and received a call that evening just before 7pm to ask for confirmation of the address because it could not be located. I gave the information again and was told it would be delivered on Tuesday. On Tuesday I noted that the parcel had not gone out for delivery and around lunch time I called to follow up and was again asked to confirm the address, which I did again. The person I spoke to advised that the parcel had not gone out but they had an available driver and would send it out to me. In between this time I received a call from someone else to again confirm the address. Later I got another call to advise that a driver was not yet available to delivery my parcel. It is now Wednesday at 2pm, the item was scanned out early this morning for delivery today and I still have not received it. When phoning to follow up I was told I would get it today before 5. In all of the above discussions I advised I need it delivered before 4pm. This is terrible service. And I'm wondering if I will even still receive it today.
Good Day Angela,
I would like to apologise for the service you have received in regards to your delivery. I have escalated your complaint to the branch manager in question who will be holding a meeting with the staff concerned later today.
I am informed that you have received you order this afternoon, and once again we apologise for the delay in you receiving your order.
Regards
