no communication

I have been expecting a delivery from Fast and Furious. Driver called me on 08.07.2020 to confirm my work address. I never got any delivery. Upon follow up to track my parcel I was told the driver was hijacked on the 8th and my parcel is gone. I know the driver can't be held responsible for being hijacked, but I feel the courier company should have called to let customers know. I am peeved to say the least
