Bad customer service

Im having a problem with this courier service who doesnt contact you when they deliver or before they do.According to them they phoned me on the day of delivery and no one was home. How can you just deliver and expect the person to be available. They never phoned and I was at home the whole day,because of their stupidity my order will be delayed and my customers are now complaining because they wanted their items before the weekend .
