Refund trauma

On the 1st of November 2023 I went to go buy a dress and for some reason the network was not working well and when I paid the first time they pos froze and we tried to pay again and it went through only for the amount to go through again so my money went out twice to them , they told me refund will take 7 days tell me why I’ve been going back and forth with getting a refund it’s almost a month now and I’m still running around now they called me today (27 November 2023) and said the amount on they side doesn’t show so I should call my bank so I called my bank and they confirmed the amount went through so now I must file a dispute with my bank. I’m so annoyed and irritated I don’t understand how a refund can literally take so long and why do I have to go through all of this when they pos froze on me so now I’m left in the dessert to struggle alone.
