Complain about a bad treatment from a store

I would like to complain about how bad I was treated and humiliated by the assistant Branch Manager on Saturday 27.11.2020 around 11:50 AM in your in a store in vryheid

My wife and I made a lay-bye in October as we have been doing and have been shopping from this shop for so many years,

On the 27th we went to release our lay-bye but there were 2 items that we did not want anymore from the laybye and we notified the cashier accordingly, the cashier the called the manager to assist, when she arrived she asked why are we not taking the stuff anymore and she was told because we do not want it anymore , she then said why did we laybye it if we were not gonna take it and we have kept it in a laybye for so long,

My wife told her it was only for one month, I then asked Thuli, why is she telling us that we kept it for so long when the terms and condition of the laybye allows us to cancel the laybye she then said "uyapha I am not talking to you, you are involving yourself in a business that is not yours" I told her its my business because I am the one who is paying for this and we are together with the lady, she then chased me out of the shop continuing to insult me saying I must get out of the shop and she went out of the tills towards the door still shouting at me

They called her back because she had a slip with her, she came back and I stood in front of her and stopped her and told her to stop talking nonsense because I am a customer there and I only came to buy I never stole anything and I have a right to cancel a laybye without being told what she told me in a very rude manner, she then grabbed and manhandled me and promised to beat me, I felt humiliated and embarrassed in front of my wife and other customers

I have been buying in thus shop for so many years, I have made a number of lay-byes for so many years and cancelled some in Woodmead and Jhb central but I have never been treated like this

The manager then called the police for me and claimed that I hit her and opened a case against me, the case is still pending and I have to travel from JHB to Vryheid to attend the case that is costing me money for something I did not even do, the case has been postponed twice already
