Unfair practice by Fashion Co

My family and I visited the Montana Family Market in Pretoria on 22/8/2021 and my wife was looking for lingerie and we went into a clothing shop. After my wife got what she wanted (the price was R40.00) and wanted to pay, the person at the cashier informed her that the item was less than R100 and that my wife could only swipe her bank card for more than R100. I have asked the person if he read the Consumer Protection Act and it is not allowed to do so. He informed me that he is not interested in such an act and that he is doing business for more than 15 years in South Africa and he will not change his way of doing business (which I assume then he is the owner of the business). I have tried to talk to him in this regard, but he did not wanted to listen to me and was only making hand signs that I am talking to much. My wife had no other option but to take another item and the final transaction price which she paid was R135.00, as she wanted the said item. I have tried to see what the name of the business was, but there was no name on the outside of the shop, only a shop number, which is shop number B9. The business name on the receipt was Fashion Co. I did an internet search and it shows the shop number as MA053 & MA054. the contact person was listed as ****al, cell number - ***. I have also logged a formal complaint at the Consumer Goods & Services Ombudsman which they referred me to the National Consumer Commission (as it is outside their jurisdiction). I have sent an email to the NCC on 06/09/2021, but with no response from them yet.
