Farmcity sells inferior goods with no after servic

Please do not buy any Generators from Farm City Pierre van Ryneveld. <br> <br> I purchased what was to believe a 6.5kVA AGPRO from Thabo after he convinced me with a laminated paper to the ability to power quite number of appliances. When I started using it, it could hardly power a hairdryer alone or keep lights on. Not being clued up on generators, I got an Electrician to take a look. He reported back that the Generator is a 5 kVA and puts out only 1 kVA. <br> <br> I returned the generator to Farmcity to be repaired under warranty. 4 months being possessed by Farmcity and Manufacturer, they report back that I have burned out the Alternator by overloading the Generator and the warranty does not cover repair. I have to fork out R4000.<br> <br> Taking my concerns to upper management I land up a the owner of the shop, Rupert, who shrugs and says he can not speak for what the manufacturer says and I have to fight this fight with the manufacturer themselves. He will set up a meeting between me and the manufacturer.<br> <br> I am stunned to the reaction of the owner, they are very happy to sell you the generator and take the profits, but stand back when problems come? I am frustrated.
