Worst service, workmanship and quality control ever

Discovery have authorised your Vehicle claim for your loss on 11th December 2023. My car was booked in with Faber Coachworks on 28th December for repairs. A WhatsApp group was setup immediately for communication services and then promptly ignored. On the 15th January the run-around began. Deon Faber told me that my car was written off and was just waiting for final approval. After countless phone calls / messages I was finally told by the end of January that my car was no longer written off and repairs would begin ASAP. (Quote for 160k suddenly became 100k) I was informed that my car would be ready by for pickup on 8th February. I checked my vehicle and there was a part missing, no replacement number plate and the gaps didn't line up. Deon told me he just needed a couple of days and he could have it sorted. I let him have a week to do quality control, get the missing part and number plate. I finally received my car 22nd March 2024. On Monday 20th May was the fourth time I've been back to getting the missing part after being told it was there waiting for me, and I'm still waiting. I have WhatsApp messages, emails and voice messages to backup the experience that I have just described. FABERS COACHWORKS - WOULD NOT RECCOMEND

Thank you for finally getting the spare part and having it installed. A further update to the workmanship is that my car is leaking oil from the parts that was replaced on the motor. Mu car has never had an oil leak until Faber Coachworks. Not impressed
