Beyond awful

It would be difficult to find a place worse than Farber. My insurance company sent the car there after some minor water damage. It turns out that all that needed to be done was to replace an oil filter. This took Farber 6 weeks to do, and cost me R4500 (yes, you read that correctly, for a single oil filter). There was no communication, and when I called in to check up on the progress, the ladies answering the phone were so rude to me. One example, I called in and said "Hi, this is Cha..." and the lady cut me off and said "We are not on a first name basis, give me your surname". It seems that, because they get a lot of cars from insurance, that they really don't care about their clients at all. 6 weeks to change an oil filter, and my car has come back in worse condition than when I left it there. It's rare to find such an awful, useless company like this.
