Financial loss suffered at the hands of *********** agent

I was letting my property through Dalton and Craig Farah of Farah Properties. The tenants were in my house for a little over 2 years before I decided to sell. Throughout the marketing process the agent put the tenants needs before mine, holding off on potential buyers because the tenants were making arrangements to buy through their company which never materialised. They moved out and I only found out at that point that they had been without power for almost a month prior to moving out. I had to investigate and found out that they had bridged the electricity and I had to fork out R4500.00 to replace the meter box, meanwhile the agent placed such urgency on me paying them their refund, without having conducted a proper inspection on the property. I started marketing for the sale of the property from scratch and through another agent who sold the house within 3 months. With the marketing and sale process I lost out on 6 months rent because of the incompetence of this agent.
