Unfinished business
Hello Peter, In July 2025 I paid Famous Kitchens SA (Beraad Projects) more than R40,000 in full for built-in cupboards in two bedrooms and a full garage installation including wall cupboards and a mirror. This is what was delivered 10 months later: • Bedroom 1: Cupboard installed but unfinished at the ceiling, no interior shelving • Bedroom 2: same as bedroom 1 • Garage: Upper cabinets not installed, mirror never installed • Property damage: Wall around a light switch was damaged during the work and left unrepaired For 10 months I have been given constantly changing dates, ignored calls, and broken promises. When I visited their registered business address at Unit 7, Ohm Street Industrial Park, Kya Sands, Randburg — there were no offices at that location. This business posted on their Facebook page , actively marketing to new customers — yet they have not responded to my follow-ups or completed work I paid for in full 10 months ago. I have photographic evidence of all the above, proof of payment, and 10 months of correspondence. A formal letter of demand has been sent. I just hope that people will not get into the same problems l am having now.
