Terrible Experience

What initially seemed like a professional company with an effective installer team turned into a nightmare when the owner Schalk refused to resolve installer mistakes without the client paying additional money. After getting several quotes and deciding on False Bay Pools I paid the 70% deposit and scheduled the installation. Halfway through the first day they informed me they made a mistake on their quote and threatened to abandon the project if I didn't pay them an ekstra R3500. I paid the extra money to keep the project on track. Then they incorrectly plumbed out the pump which resulted in my pool draining hallway whenever the pump switched off. Schalk refused to fix it without additional charges. Now barely 2 months after the install several of the valves on the pump plumbing seized up and once again Schalk refused to fix or partially refund. I would not recommend doing business with False Bay Pools.
