Horrible Restaurant!! Horrible Experience!!

Horrible Experience at Falcon Spur Clearwater I went to Spur Falcon Falls for dinner on Sat evening of 15 June 2024. I was sitting in the restaurant close to the play area, a seat next to the glass window opposite the face painting lady. I order the original spur burger and chips, with lemon water to drink and my kids had spur riblets and chips, one with cream soda and the other with Cappy Juice. My kids couldn’t finish their food and I took the rest of their food in takeaway boxes. After leaving Spur that evening and got home me and my kids started having diarrhoea. I didn’t think much of it at first. Gave my kids medication being Pectrolyte and Buscopan and ensured they hydrated. I didn’t take anything, because I was not what is safe to take at 20 weeks pregnant for diarrhoea. I thought the diarrhoea was going to stop that night. It persisted on Sunday of 16 June, Monday of 17 June and even included vomiting. For both me and my kids. Anti-nausea meds, Buscopan and Pectrolyte helped my kids through it however I was not getting any better instead felt worse to the point I told my husband that I had to go to the doctor now because I was not feeling well at all. I first sent my gynae office a message to schedule an appointment with them however they suggested I head straight to the labour ward instead as per below Screenshot. I was then admitted on the 18th of June 2024 and discharged on 21 June 2024.

I wrote a review on them to tell them of my experience, the manager and owner contacted me to tell me they will investigate. The owner offered me a meal voucher at Spur for compensation. Who would eat your food after falling sick and being hospitalized? When I declined it he handed the claim to their insurance.

The Spur insurance has been contacting me pretending to be assisting me however busy requesting for the same info over and over again from me only to tell me that there is no link between what I ate at Spur and me being sick.

How do you then explain how me and my kids fell ill???
