What's The Real Discount

This morning I went to your Menlyn Mall branch to buy a pair of sunglasses. There were two people working in the store, but had completely two different answers for me. There is currently a 60% sale in store, but it seems from my appearances, the shop assistance decided to tell me otherwise.

I picked a pair of sunglasses for R1280 and the discounted price would then be R512 of which when the one assistant mentioned, but the other changed and said that the sunglasses are R650 and double insisted when I asked again. I obliged and as I was about to pay, they insisted that the swiping machine was offline, meaning I'd have to pay cash, of which I did. A few minutes later, I called your other store in Boksburg and the gentleman who answered corrected me and told me that indeed everything was 60% off, meaning I might have been cheated.

I went back to the store and told them that I called head office and it seems I was meant to pay R512 instead of R650. They scrambled around and said they might have made a mistake, which I highly doubt because the other shop assistant mentioned it, but the lady, I'm assuming "Betty" as written on the receipt changed the amount.

Their behaviour is appalling and makes me wonder how many unknowing customers they try this trick with. Please plead with them to stop trying to ***** from customers for their own benefit.
