I was told the warehouse closes at 2pm and I can go and collect my wardrobe when I got there before 2pm the warehouse was closed

I was told the warehouse closes at 2pm and I can go and collect my wardrobe when I got there before 2pm the warehouse was closed. Went back to the store and the manager was uninterested and told me he has no cash at the store he can't refund me and they were expecting me to pay for their transportation cost after I chose collection and I have my own transport. So basically I will be paying for double. The manager does not have managerial skills. I called the head office and they say there is nothing they can do, only the sales consultant tried coming up with an amicably solution which ended up costing him money
