Disgusting and Rude

- in the year 2022 I requested for assistance with payment of school fees of my child. I was advised that my child's school fees is too expensive for your liking and I should find a cheaper school if I want financial assistance . As if this child does not deserve good quality education.

- In November 2023 I made it known to your company that the person who was assisting me to financially take care of my child since fairheads has been refusing to assist is now deceased and I require financial assistance constantly moving forward as I am unemployed.

- on the 13th of December 2023 I sent email communication to your offices requesting that my child be considered for financial assistance in terms of school fees for the year 2024 as I am unemployed. I only received an auto email response and no further communication was sent to me.

- I only received an sms reply from your offices on the 8th of January 2024 that I need to give you a quotation for my child's school fees with a school stamp. Mind you this is 9 days before schools open for the academic year.

- I called in to enquire as to why I was not advised of this sooner as I would have been able to provide what you were looking for in December 2023 now I'm being told to give you the document in January 2024. No apology was afforded to me, instead I was being patronized and belittled by each person I spoke to. I was then told they had a backlog and there was no further explanations or empathy shown. Iwas further advised by Mpho that I would have to write a motivation to the board of trustees to advise why I want you to pay for my child's full school fees as fairheads will only ever pay R12 000.00. I advised I am unemployed and further to this I unable to get space for my child at any other government school closest to our are in gauging due to capacities being filled , where am i expected to get the remaining balance of her school fees? she said I needed to write that to the board of trustees and attach the quotation for consideration.

- I provided the requested information as well as an email motivation stating the circumstances on the 11th of January 2024 after having to wait for school stuff to return to work. I received a response advising I have to wait 10 to 15 working days for my query to be attended to . This was not a new query and the delay was caused by your company so I didn't understand why my child has to be punished for this. Doing my calculation it would mean that by the time I would get any further response from fairheads it would be 2nd of February 2024 and my child would have missed out on a whole month of school because fees are not paid.

- I have called in each and every single day since the 8th of January 2024 seeking assistance from you for my child and each time I called I have been made to feel like I'm a begger and a useless parent for being unemployed and stupid to say the least by each person I spoke to.

I am unemployed and I constantly need to be the one to call in using my own airtime just to be given half answers and patronizing responses.

- I have been told different excuses and different processes I need to do to get assistance for my daughter with her money left for her by her father whichis frustrating to say the least.

- today is the 19th January 2024, my child is sitting at home and not attending school because of fairheads Incompetence and lack of willingness to assist. She deserves education and her father made means for this however fairheads is depriving her the write to education.

I have gone as far as having to beg for at least a letter to be sent to her school to allow her entry while the follow process at fairheads however same has not been attended to.

I am very heartbroken each time I look at my child crying due to her not being able to go to school. If I was employed I wouldn't have even bothered your company for any assistance because clearly the only answer we will get is NO as this has been the response since the trust was created in 2021.

I guess my child will just sit at home for s whole year while finances are available for her to go to school but the big gund of fairheads just want to keep all the money for themselves.
