Disappointed
I am writing this with profound sadness and frustration. After my mother’s passing, the payout due to my siblings was underwritten by a trust fund administered by Fairheads Benefit Services. From the very start, communication with your company has been nothing short of a struggle — cold, slow, and at times outright dismissive.
Recently, my brother turned 18. As his guardian, I took the responsibility to help submit a benefit form for a full payout of his trust funds — essential money for his future and for our family’s immediate financial survival. We sent the first form around March 2025. Months passed in silence until we followed up, only to be told there was a “mistake” on the form.
Another form was sent in May, and according to your own policy, we were told to expect the funds within 15 working days. It is now July, and still — nothing. Each follow-up is met with stonewalling or outright rudeness. Now that my brother is 18, I am suddenly told I can no longer access any information, despite having carried this burden for years as the one financially responsible for him.
Meanwhile, we are struggling. Bills pile up. Hopes for using these funds to build a more secure future are crushed under unnecessary bureaucracy and a staggering lack of empathy. From reading countless reviews, it is painfully clear that this is not an isolated incident — Fairheads has developed a notorious reputation for making beneficiaries beg, plead, and wait endlessly for what is rightfully theirs.
It is disheartening that companies continue to entrust people’s futures to an organization so careless with lives already shattered by loss.
I am sharing this publicly on HelloPeter because it seems only public pressure might compel Fairheads to treat people with the urgency, respect, and compassion they deserve.
I demand immediate action:
A clear update on the status of my brother’s payout.
A formal apology for the distress and poor treatment.
Reassurance that the funds will be paid out without further delays.
Fairheads, please remember: these are not just “cases” or “files.” These are families trying to rebuild after loss — deserving dignity, not indifference.
We apologise for all the inconveniences you may have experienced. Your complaint will be escalated to investigate reasons for the delay from March - July 2025 in the hope of establishing what cause of the holdup has been and to resolve it.
