Prepare to be ****** of your deposit

<p>I would discourage anyone from renting from this company, the lease is completely written in thier favour and states that they can deduct money from your deposit for "any reason whatsoever", thier policy on normal wear and tear is unclear, if there is one at all. They demanded I replace a carpet that did not need to be replaced and have continued to find ways to bleed my deposit dry. If you do decide to rent from them, which again I would not encourage, make sure you take note of every little thing in the apartment and take photo's because they will try and charge you for even the most banal things. The company expects the apartment to look exactly the same as when you moved in , which is physically impossible if you are actually living in a space. If you are moving to Cape Town from overseas or from another province, as I did, I suggest don't rent from them, there are other leasing companies in the city which are far more fair with thier contracts and will not try and cyphen you out of your deposit.</p>
