Sound bar

I bought a sound bar at Fair price Southgate at the beginning of November 2022, I misplaced my slip but the packaging is still there. The sound bar just stopped working at the beginning of December and I went to Fair price on the 15/12/22 to let them know of what is going on and that I can bring my statement as proof of purchase since I can't find my slip but they said they won't be able to help me, it's hardly a month and they can go back into their systems to print out the invoice but they just dismissed me, so I would like to know if this means that I just gave them my money for free as this thing is not working and it's still new
