Shop refusing to help with reprint of receipt after my receipt was ****** along with handbag

Good day

I purchased furniture to the value of R25000. 00 on the 13th of December from Fair Price in Alberton (Voortrekker Street).. My wife's handbag was unfortunately ****** and the slip of the good we purchased was in her bag, and now we are left without the receipt for our warranty.

We purchased big items like a fridge, 65" TV, washing machine which has warranty cover and we are stressed now because we don't have that receipt anymore.

The lady whom I presume is the branch manager was very unhelpful and just told me she cannot help me and cannot do a reprint of my slip. My question was why not? And she just responded because she cannot help

Now my question is how does the shop keep record of the items they sold? Is it really too much to ask for a reprint of my slip for my peace of mind?

I beg you, please assist me with reprinting my receipt. I can make available my bank statement to show the proof of my transaction.
