No Cable, No Warning, Just Extra Costs
Spent over R7,000 at the Heathway Fair Price on 11 April 2025 on a fridge and a stove/oven combo, only to find out AFTER delivery that the oven doesn’t even come with a power cable. Seriously?
Not once did the sales consultant mention this. So now, after already paying for delivery, I’m expected to spend even more money buying a separate cable AND paying a qualified electrician just to get a brand-new appliance working. How does that make any sense?
This isn’t a small detail, it’s essential. Selling an oven without clearly telling the customer it can’t even be used straight away is just poor service and zero transparency.
Now I’m stuck with an unusable oven, limited time after work to sort this out, and extra costs I absolutely did not budget for.
For the price paid, this is unacceptable. Do better. At the very least, communicate properly or include what’s actually needed to use the product.
I expect this to be resolved, whether that means providing the correct cable, assisting with installation, or offering a proper solution.
