Misleading Refund Policy and poor customer service - Krugersdorp Fair Price

On the 25th of March, I visited the Krugersdorp Fair Price store to request a layby refund. According to their website, refunds take 14 days, but in-store, I was told I must wait two months.

When I questioned this inconsistency, the employee was rude and unhelpful. I asked if this waiting period was part of the store’s terms and conditions, and she said "no." When I pointed out that this contradicts the policy on their website, she casually responded, "yes, you can say that," confirming that Fair Price is misleading its customers.

This is unacceptable. Fair Price must honor the 14-day refund policy they advertise and train their staff to provide better customer service. I expect a response and a resolution to my refund issue. My refence number is 27384
