Lies, Lies, Lies

I purchased a couch and fridge from Fair Price on Saturday, the sales assistant was quick to say that the items will be delivered the very same day. As I had other plans and no one would be home, we agreed that they would deliver on Sunday. I was not bothered when no one called to arrange for delivery on Sunday as I figured maybe there were no drivers since it was a Sunday. On Monday no one bothered to call so I called around 1.25pm asking when they would deliver, I was told I would be called back in 20 minutes. Themba did not call back, so I decided to call again. He then said the driver will deliver by 5pm. Time passes and still no call or delivery, for the past three days I have been on the phone querying delivery and I am told a new story every time. No one bothers calling us, we have to run around to know where the items we paid for in cash are. Monday the couches were damaged and they were waiting for new stock, Tuesday the driver is on the way, today I am told they are out of stock, What were they going to deliver on Saturday? I wish I had gone onto Hello Peter before going to that shop! Now my hubby just wants his money back, wonder how long that will take???
