Forced to take delivery by Fairprice

I went to Fair price Cosmo City which closer to where I leave to purchase a gas stove. I was told that I will have to pay R150.00 for delivery. I turned down the delivery and said I will pick up the stove myself instead than paying an extra R150.00 I was then informed that if I don't want the delivery I will then have to go fetch the stove at their warehouse in Crownmines Jhb!! Which I find ridiculous and abusive. The reason why I came to this branch was for me to get the item from the branch. That is just pure disregard of consumer rights done by this business. And it seems as they have been doing it that way as obviously they know that majority of their clientele is us blacks who do not know much about consumer rights. I refuse to drive for 28km away from the branch to collect an item I was buying 3km away from my house.
