Faulty washing machine

I bought a washing machine last year march on the 4th of March 2019 and suddenly it stopped working this year i tried contacting the store (Fair price Mayibuye) and the headoffice telling them this problem and letting them know that i somehow lost the receipt but i have a bank statement to prove the transaction but still they refused to help of which i think i am well within my customer rights to have the machine fixed by the store as i called their head office the guy that answered the phone said they cant help me but gave me his "Contact" that fixes washing machines for me to call the guy i am not happy with the service
