FAIR PRICE RANDFONTEIN POOR SERVICE

Fair Price Randfontein has bad customer service and the entire business as a whole. On 30 November 2024, I went with my parents to buy gas stoves for cash. The first red flag was that the stove was not complete; certain parts were missing, and they insisted that's how the stove is supposed to be. My mom insisted on purchasing it anyway; they told us the stock would be available in two weeks. We never heard anything from them until my dad went to the shop 6 weeks later, on Thursday, 09 January 2025, to ask what was happening with the stock. He was told that the stock is still not available. He told them that he would come on Saturday for the refund. That manager told my dad to bring documents, which he did, but they told him that they don't have cash and he must wait till someone comes and buys. I am not happy at all. Why would they sell something that is not available? especially if you buy cash. Why must it take 5 days before a customer can get their refund? It is totally unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone buy furniture from that store. The service is very poor.
