Fair Price Mokopane and poor Customer Care and Service

I recently had one of the worst customer service experiences with Fair Price Mokopane.

I made payment for an order on Monday and was repeatedly promised that the goods would be delivered. Today is Thursday, and despite the sales representative committing to delivery today, it is now after 18:30 and I still have no delivery, no proper communication, and no update on my order.

What made the experience even worse was the poor customer service. Customers are pressured into making purchases, but once payment is made, communication and service levels drop completely. I was only informed after payment that the “R300 saving” on the promotion would effectively be cancelled out by transport costs, and I was never given a proper option to collect the items myself.

The lack of transparency, poor communication, and failure to honour commitments has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Fair Price Mokopane to anyone looking for reliable service.
