Fair Price KG mall is Bull****

Hello Peter Im Noluthando and bought a defy twin tub washing machine last year august. This morning my washing did not want to drain and i called fair price at KG Mall where i bought the washing machine and i spoke to Richard, who was very rude to me and said he will not assist me since i have lost my receipt, i told him i have the bank statement, i know the date and time of purchase which they can use to find a store receipt copy with the reference number he needs to book the repair, he said No they don't work like that and i told him about consumer rights and that im going to take this further and he said go ahead call the head office this is how they work, i will have to pay cash for the repair. Now i want to know if this is the **** service we must expect from fair price? Consumer Act is not adhered to, i have a bank statement to prove my purchase and for them to trace the reference number, why am i given *** service? I was supposed to keep the slip clearly because now i will definitely make it known that Fair Price sells poor quality appliances!!!
