Bad Service and unprofessional help

On Saturday I bought a TV and some other items from Fair Price store in Vanderbijlpark. I tested the TV inside the store. I left it with the salesperson to put back inside the box. Which was a mistake. The TV was put in the box the wrong way around and the remote was thrown inside the box on top of the screen. When we got home to install my TV only to find the screen is damaged. We tried to take the TV back on Sunday and Monday, but they were closed because of the Public Holiday. We took the TV back on Tuesday. Then they said that they will access the TV. Today the same person who helped us to buy more the R16000 worth of goods called me and said that I should pay R3800 and then they will fix the TV. This is very unprofessional as this is not my mistake and that they won't take any responsibility for the Salesmans mistake. Now I am paying R9200 for a TV I paid R5500 for and had no use of. This is not acceptable.
