Bad service

I purchased furniture items on15 December 2022 because my daughter and grand children were going to come stay with me. Things changed over the weekend and I was back in the store on 21 December 2022 with my documentation to request to return the goods as I no longer required them. Unfortunately, I removed the plastics from the items and was informed that I could not return them. The sleeper couch has stitching that is fraying and that was discovered when I unwrapped the couch. The warranty papers I did not even sign in the store as it was not explained to me by the sales person or the store manager. I am not happy with the level of service from the store because on the 21 December 2022 when I visited the store the manager confronted the sales person who gave me the number for Jason *** and told him that under no circumstances should a customer be given that number but I was not assisted adequately in addressing my problem
