Appalling service from Fair Price - they swore at me as a customer

I bought a brand new wardrobe from Fairprice and due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to return the wardrobe back to them before it was delivered to my home. I tried numerous times to contact their customer support on the following no *** which I got from their website however, I was unable to get through. When dialing the number the automated voice response says you will be transferred to an agent and then the call disconnects. I bought the wardrobe online and therefore had no other means of contact, this was very frustrating. I then sent an email to *** requesting for assistance and my email was only answered 2 weeks later. Eventually, my request to return the wardrobe was processed and I received an email from Fair Price that they will be coming to collect the wardrobe. About 2 weeks after this communication, the pick-up guys called to arrange to collect the wardrobe. I was called by Ricky who works for Fairprice and confirmed on Thursday 07 July 2022 that they were on their way to collect the wardrobe. Now the wardrobe is still sealed and has not been in use. After a brief inspection, Ricky told me that they cannot take the wardrobe back to their warehouse as it was damaged. I asked him to show me the damage to the wardrobe as it has never been used since it arrived. He showed me a little scratch on the side and said that was the damage. I asked him to explain how a small scratch that could have been caused by the delivery guys who delivered the wardrobe initially constitute damage? He played a voice note from his boss Ridwan who apparently is the head of the drivers at the driver's centre. I was shocked and appalled at Ridwan's instructions on that voice note to Ricky. The voice note said, "you can go and pick up the wardrobe but if there's a ****en scratch on it, you do not ****en take the wardrobe - you don't ****en take it, **** that ****". These were his words exactly as played on the voice note that Ricky made me listen to and said he was following orders from his boss. One, the issue here is that this Ridwan is very aggressive for no reason. Two, he has no sense of what customer service is. I mean what happened to the old adage that the customer is always right, or better yet the customer is always placed first before the needs of the company. I am disgusted at the service I received from Fair Price. I wanted to purchase a washing machine next but from my current experience which has not even been resolved, I am and will never consider taking my money to Fairprice ever again. I will not take this lying down, I am going to fight for my rights as a consumer and will escalate this matter to the highest possible avenue.
