Layby Refund

Did a layby in April and now decided to cancel it,went to the store yesterday to ask for my refund the managers told me that I would receive my money next month which I don't understand because there's nothing says anything about layby refund policy even their slip is plain at the back. Fair Price is not fair to their customers, when you do a layby they don't say come next month with the money but when you need your money back you must come next month.
