Fair Cape Customer Care Administration does not have customers interest at heart
Good day, I bought x2 2l full cream Fair Cape milk two weeks ago(24th January 2018) which had an expiry date of 01 February 2018 I do so every week and freeze immediately. When I defrost, I leave the milk in my fridge and use as needed. However, both cartons of milk were sour and I could not use it. I called Fair Cape and spoke to Erma who was on the switchboard, she took my details; complaint and said the sales and customer care administrator, Charlotte van Rooyen would call me the next day as she was in a meeting at the time. Charlotte never called me but sent me an email. I responded to her email with a photograph of the bottle as Erma said I could discard it, she never acknowledged receipt. This morning I received an update email from Charlotte with the lab report which shows nothing wrong with the product; she stated an apology but the response received imp**** that it was my fault that the milk was sour. There was no compensation for the money I lost of the x2 2litre milk which was close to R50. I found her mannerisms unprofessional as she did not have the decency to return my call and merely felt it was okay to communicate to me via email. I informed her I was not happy with her conduct. Is this what customer service has come to?
