FACEM (Joubert Schneider van Heerden)

My daughter of 14 Months got sick and we took her to Pretoria East Hospital Emergency. They did not want to call the paediatrician on call before a Dr saw her. Eventually a Dr (from Congo) contracted by FACEM (Joubert Schneider van Heerden) saw her and prescribed medicine for us. When we went to the pharmacist to collect the medicine and she brought to our attention that the dosage was far above a safe use for my daughter. We phoned our Paediatrician and he was disgusted by the medicine prescribed.

I understand people make mistakes but this is my daughters life. We strongly considering opening a case of malpractice. This practise has been disappointing numerous times and we will definitely use another emergency in the future
