Appalling service

I went to Fabric World in Wynberg today intending to buy a large amount of fabric. The shop floor was full of staff talking loudly to one another, a few customers and a lot of fabric. After waiting to be served, I approached a member of staff to ask for help and he told me quite curtly to go and talk to the assistants on the other side of the shop. I did so, and again, had to flag someone down to ask about a certain type of fabric. Without even waiting to hear my query he told me rudely that they didn’t have any and started to walk off. I called him back to ask about the second type of fabric I wanted, and he turned around and walked off while I was talking to him. At this point swallowed my temper and found one last member of staff to assist me, only to be told that she was busy (chatting to another staff member). At that I walked out and will never go back to Fabric World again. Until today I’d have recommended it as one of the best fabric shops in Cape Town but now I will actively discourage people from going there. Your mistake Fabric World.
