Disgusting customer service and lies

I purchased a corner couch and had the unit delivered on 21 September 2016. A damaged unit was delivered to me so I contacted the store in Southgate and was given Zama’s number at the head office. Worst person to deal with….NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO INTERGRITY…UNABLE TO CALL CUSTOMERS, WAIT FOR THEM TO CALL HER, MORE LIKE THE TO HELL WITH THE CUSTOMER ATTITUDE….AND LIES…JUST TOO MUCH OF IT.

Anyway, upon contacting her, I was told I will get new couches, which was delivered on 18th October 2016. In November 2016, I contacted Zama to tell her that the couches are sinking, she promised to have new ones delivered on 14 December 2016. I then postponed to 21st December 2016 as I wanted to be at home at time of delivery. 21st December came and went and so did Christmas and the New Year without a call, sms, email or a smoke signal from Zama until 25th January 2017. She then promised me new couches which never came and then I asked for a refund as the couches were cracking at the stitching. I realised if that was happening after a short period of time, what will happen after having the unit for a year. Zama agreed to refund and the unit was picked up on 10th March 2017. After numerous occasions of begging Zama for the refund which I didn’t get to date. A week later she told me that the unit has paint marks on it by me, funny enough, I never painted my house and funny enough I wasn’t told of this whilst speaking to Zama a few occasions prior to her telling me that and funny enough, she only sent me pics on the 30th March when I was totally ****ed off about my refund and funny enough, there are no marks on the couch but she claims behind the couch…SEEMS ODD.

So Zama says that my refund is not done as yet, and when it gets done, she will be deducting 25% of the purchase price, I am trying to understand that I returned a damaged couch and she is claiming funds a surcharge from me. Is this company in line with the consumer protection act, is it ok that Zama treats customers like nothing but is the person in charge after Kenan Germaner, oh and Kenan thinks nothing of his customers as I have requested him to call me on numerous occasions and to date hasn’t called. My money is good enough to get kept by your company, but I as a customer is not good enough to be called. OH WELL IF I DON’T GET MY REFUND, I WILL GO VIRAL, I AM IN RETAIL AND NOW ALL ABOUT THE CPA ACT…FAB FURNITURE AND ZAMA SHOULD NOT TEST ME

Kind Regards

Julie Ann Godeffroy
**********
