Disrespectful, arrogant owner.

Hi. I am pastor Evan. I was looking for a quite restaurant to accommodate approximately 20 people on a Sunday. This restaurant looked perfect and is also in the appropriate location. I decided to go have a look - see for myself.

There was an elderly white man with a very bad ******** attitude, he has absolutely NO respect whatsoever. He was shouting at his staff and even called them names, threatening to start handing out slaps. I asked around and found out his name is Dave, he is apparently the owner of this restaurant which I find hard to believe, as more than one employee stated to me that he is only a manager, not even close to an owner. If this is the owner then I can honestly say that myself, my friends, my family as well as the people from my churches will NOT be visiting this restaurant. I am still deciding whether I am going to leave it here or take it further, as what I saw is unacceptable and goes against everything we as a community believe in. We can not support a business that abuses its staff in any way, shape, or form. This goes against basic human rights.

A month or so back my son and his wife came home very upset one evening. We sat down and discussed it. Apparently they visited a restaurant at 19h30, the doors were closed but the sign boards said open and the closing time is only scheduled for 21h00. They entered the restaurant and got immediately chased out as the restaurant was "closed". My son being an advocate stated a few facts and the guy decided to serve them. The guy asked one of his black employees to do something but this employee really did not understand what he was trying to say. He shouted at his employee and called him names, there was a white lady who tried to help the employee and she also got shouted at and also called names. There were 4 customers in total at that moment.

When I discussed with my son what happened at the restaurant that I visited, he asked me the name of the place and as it turns out, it is exactly the same restaurant we're I experienced it first hand. So I tried getting contact details of the head office bit to no avail. This was my last resort, as not only I witnessed it, but my son did too.
