Debt review
am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Ezee Debt Co. I was contacted by their consultants and informed that they could assist me by reducing my interest rate from 12% to 9%. Before agreeing, I specifically asked whether this was debt review because I had no intention of being placed under debt review. I was clearly told that it was NOT debt review. After agreeing, I later discovered through my banking and credit profile that I had in fact been placed under debt review without my proper understanding or informed consent. I immediately changed banks before any debit order could go through, but unfortunately my name had already been flagged. This situation has negatively affected my credit profile and now impacts my future plans to apply for vehicle finance and a home loan. I believe I was misled into a legal process I did not agree to. I have requested clarity and documentation relating to my alleged consent to debt review. I would like Ezee Debt Co to: Provide all signed documents and proof of consent Explain why I was told this was not debt review Assist urgently with correcting/removing the debt review status if it was processed improperly
