ezDebt debt review

In 2016 after having twins and coming back from a 60% paid maternity leave I started struggling to meet my monthly repayments and decided to go for debt review to try preserve my credit record and ease the burden. I app**** for debt review with ezDebt on 11/08/2016. It really helped because of the reduced debt repayments and was able to breath. All was well till I received summons from Standard bank on the property I was residing in in June 2017, and sheriff of the court visited. The summons sent show that debt review status was terminated and by January 2017 a notice was sent to ezdebt that i was in arrers by R17626.29 @ 9.15 interest rate. I was never made aware and was still paying them to pau my debts. I called them when i received summons bt they could not help much, i went to court and was given chance to renegotiate. I decided to pay the debtors myself and phoned them to renegotiate as by then i was close to R100000 in arresrs with all debtors combined. Only the vehicle finance was done right. Am worse off now than I was before debt review. I managed to save both properties (with Standard bank helping out a lot), and pay off my car but am not making any dent on the others as am just paying interest, some have even gone up. To clean out this mess and get my life back am in the process of selling one of my properties. People should be careful when deciding to go this route as I was under the impression that ezdebt when negotiating lower installments had negotiated lower interest rates and maybe longer terms.
