Response to Mr. Johannes Jordaans defamatory accusations

To who it may concern, Please be advised the above review left by a disgruntled client is false. Mr. Jordaan was a client with us at Ezmediation. He tried to cancel his services with us but unfortunately emailed a different company. We received word of the cancellation this past Saturday (29/03/25).

We had already debited his account by then, but informed him that he would receive a refund. Unfortunately, the first communication he had on Saturday was from Salham and Partners- they sent him a R2 000 and informed him that he would receive the rest of the refund on Monday, March 31st.

Unfortunately that information was incorrect, on no fault to Salham and Partners, they are not aware of how the funds were reflecting on our side.

The funds we debited from Mr. Jordaan was not reflecting as of yet, so I informed him that his refund would be released within the next 2-3 days. He refused to accept that the funds weren't reflecting in our account and therefore stated that because he had to wait for his refund, we would be invoiced for his stay at "The Bohemian Guesthouse".

I informed him that the company would not be paying for his stay, but we would release the funds to his account the same day it reflects in our account.

I then received a message from an employee from "The Bohemian Guesthouse", telling me that our company is liable to pay for Mr. Jordaans stay and that we should request banking details.

I communicated with 'Mary Heylboom' informing her via Whatsapp that we are not responsible for Mr. Jordaans fees incurred at her guesthouse.

We discussed back and forth for about 2 days- her claiming that we need to make a payment of approximately R30 000 for Mr. Jordaans stay. Me reinforcing that we had no part in Mr. Jordaans stay at the guesthouse.

We then did a conference call with Mr. Jordaan in which he acted confused about our company receiving payment requests from 'The Bohemian Guesthouse' when questioned about it by my manager.

Meanwhile, Mr. Jordaan was sending me messages on my personal number thanking me for paying for his 'alcohol and wagyu steaks' he enjoyed at the guesthouse.

Mr. Jordaan become so angered on the conference call when my Manager stated we would not be paying for his stay, that he cussed her out and dropped the call.

We then attempted to do a conference call between my Manager and the employee from 'The Bohemian Guesthouse"- Mary Heylboom.

When we called the number I was communicating with regarding the fees for the guesthouse, Mr. Jordaan answered. Shocked, I asked to speak with Mary, he claimed that she was in the kitchen and that he would request that she give us a call back. He then dropped the call.

We concluded that Mr. Jordaan was acting as an employee of 'The Bohemian Guesthouse' in order to **** our company out of approximately R30 000. Once we had caught him out in his ****- he threatened to write, "the mother of reputation damaging reviews"- this is a direct quote.

I informed him he was welcome to do so as our company has been nothing but helpful, honest and supportive.

I informed Mr. Jordaan multiple times that the funds would have to reflect in our account before we can issue a refund and that it would take 2-3 days.

I informed Mr. Jordaan multiple times after the funds reflected- that we issued the refund and it would take 1-2 days to reflect into his account.

After I told him the funds were released into his account- he demanded that I do an immediate payment, and that when the transferred fees reflects in his account- he will send us the balance.

We refused as he had already tried to **** us out of thousands.

That is when he took to fulfilling his promise of writing a damaging review.

It is also important to note that Mr. Jordaan did not inform us that Salham and Partners already transferred a sum of R2 000 to him. We were in the process of refunding his full amount of R9 900, when Salham and Partners advised us that they had transferred funds to his personal bank account to keep him afloat over the weekend. We are now liable to pay back those fees.

Mr. Jordaan is a troubled man who would not listen to reason. I explained to him over and over again that the number I called him from was Ezmediations number. He saved the number under the name of the agent who signed him up, however is claiming that the agent does not work for us and in fact works for Salham and Partners.

The more I tried to explain to him that 'Mischka' signed him up with Ezmediation, the more he claims she did not. Although he sent her many inappropriate messages during as well as after she signed him up, which seems to have conveniently slipped his mind.

Salham and Partners has also made mention of the fact that they receive emails and messages from Mr. Jordaan when he was trying to cancel with us at Ezmediation.

We do not normally respond to negative reviews, however in this case- when a client tries to **** the company trying to assist him with his creditors- I think it is only fair to respond in kind.

Warmest Regards, Haneefa Karriem
