Eye surgeon Practice Manager Janet Lombard has no empathy for the Practice surgeon patients

As a consumer and a patient it’s vital . For us the public to give reflection , on the service treatment or service we receive regardless of the industry’s. whether it be positive or negative from professional interaction. In my case it was with Eye surgeon in Cresta Johannesburg are. I would like to take the opportunity just to give a briefly provide an short summary background of my earlier years .

As it’s relevant onto what I’m about to address below . Between the age of five and six I was ******ed by a friend of my father’s . I wasn’t believed when I told my mother the next day . -Both were killed in a car accident just shortly after my sixth birthday . -Placed in all boys orphanage( court) . **there i met a weekend foster father called Charlie Stone **fostered four boys myself three other . ** first two months it was Called grooming today . sweets and ice skating , race driving etc. **soon one of us had to sleep in his bed ( taking turns)

*stated to the **** each of us . I was 6 1/2 other boys around 7 years old. ***for two years that continued . we were told no one will believe us . As he was she as the good guy salt Orphanage. **around 8 1/2 then we became too big for him and he started taking another group of boys. *destroyed my whole belief system was totally destroyed. *feelings is sadness , shame ,secrets .as a child of course you do not recognise that as depression that being said at continue throughout my life was dysfunctional with relationships and my trust issues that I had said that depression continued and I’ve had several appointments of suicide . ***Infact one of 4 of us did kill him self at age 18. **For of last five years I’ve been in therapy . ** I’m in my 50 ‘s now and that is why I can speak about the *****phile ( monster) call Charlie Stoner .

left a sustain sever physical damage . * Diagnose with Complex PostTraum Disorder. * As I had server flash back and continue Angus ( fearful) * Of course I started to see a Psychologist even until today I’d still do . * in 03 March 2021 had a severe Retinal detachment in right eye. * Same day I saw met a eye surgeon with Dr Bernard Wolf ( cresta area) * With in 8 months four operations. * which was unsuccessful * during that time his accounts department not following the correct way of submitting and completing documents . * I wanted to answer ,Dr Bernard Wolf performed a retinal implant 26 Jan 2022( 4th Op) had to see him in two months later during that time there was an account for R 500 outstanding. * I was surprised because I have a 200% Discovery cover . * they had a practice manager Janet as well account lady Janet . * At the time I did not pay attention to her because I never met her and accounts department Janet neither of them in three weeks could explain what 500 , * But yet I essentially told just to Pay ( so much for an explanation ) * being frustrated and anxious I eventually requested to have a meeting with Dr Bernard Wolf and Janet practice manager so that we can get to the bottom of this bill. * As a patient that seems to be the wrong thing to do . Daring to question! the practice for an explanation. * As nobody could explain it at the time in those 3 weeks , with all my e , mails and huge frustrations. * Plus mentally it was taking a toll on my mental health. ( stressful) * that being said the following day received early evening I received a call just after 6 pm at my home allegedly being extreme verbal abuse from Dr Bernard Wolf * “ so much for I shall do no harm to my patient “ * Medical oath . * Dr wolf knew for almost a year about me being in therapy for CMPTSD * screaming at me , which I have witnesses that was present when the alleged call came in. * For legal reason I’ll use alleged …. But it far d for that . * I reported immediately within two minutes to my psychologist the what has occurred .and made contact with Discovery CEO office as well with that being said they were very kind and they helped me through it and managed to change doctors. * I selected Dr Laura Sandri which was actually the other doctor indirectly that was sharing the practice with Dr Wolf. yet I did not know that at the time because she was now at her new premises .that being said I saw her on the 28th of April 2022after examining all four operations scans and and her own one taken on the same day . The conclusion was this nothing more that can be done for the right eye surgically . * I was warned on the left eye there was the same indication that the same condition was starting and her words to me was “Mr Kruger should anything change immediately can contact with me.” That being said (late Sep 2023I was in Rome and started having blur vision left eye. On my return to South Africa I immediately contacted Dr Sandri‘s office explaining what’s happening to the left eye and reminding them what the doctor said . **I spoke to Clifford and he assured me that he will get back to me that was Wednesday , Thursday , Friday eventually I phoned and told by Janet . As she mentioned her surname Lombard I knew then instantly that’s the same Janet from Dr wolf days . I had to go to an optometrist first . that being-said Igot 4 pm at Specsavers late Friday afternoon . Results were sent . then Monday I heard nothing back from From the doctors practice Tuesday I had nothing .on Wednesday morning Janet told me she left a message and doctor says I’m going to see another eye surgeon immediately . Remember by now bar 4 full working days has passed since I made contact on the Wednesday period.

had an appointment for 2 pm and just off the 4 o’clock i had laser procedure to deal off the tear that was actually in the left eye in the white section , because the gel from your eyeball .was leaking out said was an emergency but yet for nearly 5 days prior to that Janet Lombard made it so difficult for me to actually get in touch Dr Sandri .

**as I know any doctor should make sure that there Patient is handed over to another doctor . not let me run around searching yet Janet Lombard said they will also make phone calls . but I was the only one that actually located three different doctors with Discovery help . As they new from my history it’s an emergency , and when I actually spoke to her eventually I found one she didn’t even say that they attempted to find one so from me. From an ethical point of view I did not think that a patient’s vision is not a priority . Especially knowing my patient period history . Janet Lombard had destroyed two grad relationships with Dr Wolf and Dr Laura Sandri due to her input being one sided . as a patient as and a consumer in South Africa . **we all have the right to question when the procedure is not done correctly with admin especially when you provide them literally s**** feed them with The reference number how to do it . From instructions from Discovery but yet when it’s the mistake they do not own up .

the least some one from Dr Sandri Practice could oh gotten me in touch on the first day . I can honestly not FaultDr Laura Sandri in any manner She is very professional and honestly . An Amazing person and Doctor . ** if you hear the name Janet Lombard in area of cresta , blackheath area . Run for the hills because you are setting your self up to deal with an arrogant self entitled person.

All the stress and extremely mly poor clients service she provides it’s not worth it . It’s the admissions of the practice she being into a negative feedback Not to quality or professional of Dr Laura Sandri at all . For her honestly I can only praises . And I have heard this before even from numerous other Doctors positive compliments .

So this my latest interaction , I have had in early October 2023 . Seeking help desperately . Only to receive the exact poor & frustrating process as at Doctor Wolf practice. having do deal with Janet
