Speed and Efficiency, but don't expect customer care.
When it comes to speed and efficiency Extreme pools delivered and installed my pool in 3 days, which was extremely impressive. Unfortunately there were some niggles along the way. The promise from Extreme pools was "Top dollar, Top quality" and unfortunately when you are pushing your team to deliver speed and efficiency sometimes this promise goes out the window.
My disappointment is what could have been an incredible experience was the rush job to get things done, little things like customer care, ensuring that the pool was level (without me having to complain it was off - even if minor), the way they talk to their staff, the concrete slab for the filter and pump - just slap dash and move-on, the arrogant response at the use of my electrician to finalise the smart switches (which work fine) and finally the finish of the pool - it was so much easier for them to just push all the sand against the pool edges as opposed to lifting the grass first, then returning the sand and then putting the grass back would have been far more appropriate for top dollar quality. "Why didn't she think of this before we pushed the sand there" was the comment about my wife's solution to the ugly finish - as if the customer is in the wrong or has ever put a pool in the first place - just really unthinking and rude. I was pressed and incised to have to convince John that the sandpit he wanted to leave me and rush off, would just blow into the pool and when I eventually lost my cool, his team reluctantly moved the sand and lifted the grass (not replaced - just dumped to the side and left for me so they could rush off) to his crass comment of "I'm not a gardener", which I think pushed me over the edge as the pool and installation has a HUGE profit margin for the price I paid and a little customer care would have gone a long way to me recommending them and their team to others.
Overall, a decent job - but they could really work on the way they talk to their customers and complete the job with a bit more tact. Sies.
