I was doing shopping at Pick and Pay and was approached by a direct marketer for Extreme Health and Fitness to take up a contract with them. They told me that they had a running special and I can get a minimal membership fee if I take the 3 year contract but I have to pay upfront.<br> <br> I paid the amount but afterwards decided I want to cancel my agreement.<br> The Terms and Conditions states that you may cancel your agreement by giving 20 days written notice of the cancellation.<br> <br> Now they tell me that the total amount I paid is a \joining fee"and can not be refunded. Nowhere on the contract was this stated and it was not explained as such.<br> <br> They are refusing to pay back my gym membership fees for three years and said I must speak to the owners. Katherine refused however to give me the details of the owners and the owners' details are nowhere to be found.<br> <br> They are busy with ******** conduct and I would advise against people wanting to gym at Extreme Health and Fitness.<br> <br> Is there anyone that can help?"""
